Sales crash at Abercrombie & Fitch

Abercrombie and fitch, supplier of pricy casualwear to City bankers' teenage children, today said like-for-like sales had crashed 30% in the second quarter.
It has been hit hard by the steep recession in the US, where consumers have been keeping their wallets firmly shut.
However, the company which runs a flagship store in the West End and a handful of Hollister-branded shopping mall stores here, said it wanted to continue its international expansion.
